Biography

                Rachel Sellars graduated with a B.F.A from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, in 2012, with a focus in painting. In 2014 she graduated from Texas State University, with a teaching certification in art. Since then she has taught in public school and privately, in addition to continuing to working on her own art. She has been selling artwork and exhibiting in art galleries since 2002, including at the Sloan Jordan Art Gallery, the Bellmont-Cogdell House, the Arthouse Gallery in Austin, the Bass Concert Hall, Gallery Black Lagoon, and at Southwestern University. She has experience in many different mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics. Her work seeks to show others the beauty that she sees in life and has translated into art.
